Sadashiva Kaviraja was a great Devotee of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.He belonged to the spiritual lineage of Lord Nityananda. Four generations of Sadashiva’s family were parsadas or Devotees of Lord Gauranga.
A Vaidya by caste, Sadashiva was the son of Kansari Sen. Sadashiva’s son was Purushottama dasa. His grandson was Kanu Thakura.
